Highlight

The main attraction of Tepeyahualco, located at 100 km on the northeast of Puebla, is the archaeological site of Cantona, , believed to be one of the most populous metropolis in the pre-Hispanic Mexico for its enormous size, about 14 km2.The visit to several Acropolis, ball games, streets and avenues gives an idea of the size of this city. The interesting museum and the museum Caltonac in Tepeyahualco, have extensive collections of artifacts found in excavations. The environment is dominated by water, with beautiful lakes in craters, like Alchichica, a recreational destination so popular week. Various ecotourism activities are also practiced in the hills and mountains.

To the north with con Chignautla, on the south with Guadalupe Victoria, Oriental and San Nicolas Buenos Aires, on the east to Veracruz and Xiutetelco, and on the west to Libres and Cuyoaco.
